This skirt is awesome! It fits so well, it flows perfectly and twirls so great!! My one issue is that I don’t like the pockets, I think they are too open to hold on to the things I would put in them and they bunch weirdly at my hips when empty. But that’s usually how I feel about pockets in skirts, so I think a tailor will be able to solve that!
I bought this skirt on a whim. I normally don’t wear them, or dresses. But this skirt is so comfortable. I forgot I ordered it, so it was like a surprise present to me! And I was excited about the pockets.
I am very happy with my black circle skirt. It is lovely as both skirt and dress. It is pictured with my black bodysuit. The bodysuit unfortunately is too long in the torso and has to be worn bunched up or it has the feeling of wearing a saggy diaper🤭 I was advised to buy the 5x but wished i had gone with the 4x as I doubt it would be as long in the torso. Live and learn.

Another skirt from the look book sale - this is Moroccan, a stunning deep jewel-toned blue. This is one of my favourite Buttercream colours, it’s just so pretty - and it looks great in circle skirt form! I’m wearing a size Large here (I like a bit more room in the waist for my circle skirts).
A couple new circle skirts from a custom look book sale - this is Blue Plaid, the perfect pattern for spring & summer. I love wearing circle skirts in the warmer months - they pair nicely with crew tees, cupcake tees and ballet tops. I typically size up in these to a Large as I like a bit more room in the waist (I wear them as skirts rather than dresses).
Another beautiful circle skirt to add to the wardrobe - this is Pistachio, a lovely light green colour. I picked this up during one of the custom sales this spring. It pairs so nicely with this cherry print cupcake tee, but will also look great with my black/white/green crew tees as well. I like to size up in these skirts for a bit more room at the waist, so I am wearing a size Large here.
I was surprised at how versatile this skirt/dress is! I'm 5'2" so I did find the volume/length a little bit much on me, but that's probably personal preference.
One more custom colour circle skirt from the sale - this is Cranberry, a gorgeous purple-red jewel toned colour. This is a size Large. I find the large fits me best as a skirt but is a bit too loose as a strapless dress, so I stick to wearing the bigger sizes as skirts only. These skirts pair really nicely with cupcake tanks and crew tees for an easy summer look.
A couple more circle skirts in custom colours from the boxing week sale - this is Sunshine, a buttery light yellow colour. Perfect for spring and summer! This is a size Medium - a little tight but still totally wearable as a skirt, and also fits really nicely as a strapless dress in this size.
I bought some circle skirts in custom colours during the boxing week sale. This is a classic Red - it looks so great with black, charcoal, white or patterned tops. I’m wearing a long-sleeved crew tee with it here. My favourite top to pair with this skirt is a cupcake tank - it enhances the gorgeous flowy silhouette of the skirt and makes for a cool, easy summer outfit. I can wear either a Medium or Large in these skirts - typically Medium fits best if I’m planning on wearing it as a dress, but I like to size up to a Large for a bit more room in the waist for when I plan on wearing it as a skirt (this is a Large here).
Love my circle skirt. It is so versatile as it is a dress as well and it has pockets! Pairs so well with my cupcake tank. I can’t wait for summer.
I love love love wearing circle skirts in the summer. It always makes me feel so feminine & put-together. Typically I like to wear them with cupcake tanks, but they also work nicely with crew tees as well for days when you want a bit more coverage (I think the bodysuit would also be a great option, but I don’t have one of those yet). I have a couple in different patterns but didn’t have a basic black one yet, so I made sure I picked one up during the boxing week sale. I like to size up in these for when I’m wearing them as a skirt - typically I’m a Medium in a lot of BC but I size up to a Large to make sure I have lots of room in the waist. However, if I were to wear this as a dress I would have to stick with a Medium (the Large is too loose around the bust for me) - but I prefer this as a skirt, so Large it is! Highly recommend trying this style if you haven’t already, I always get a ton of compliments on them.
This is my second circle skirt - I absolutely love them. They’re my favourite Buttercream skirts - they are so voluminous & flowy, you feel like a princess whenever you wear them. AND they have pockets, which is awesome. I really love the black & white polka dot pattern too, it is really versatile and goes with so many different outfits. I like to size up to a Large for these ones for a bit more room in the waist.

I love this skirt! I have wore this skirt many times this summer - dressing it up or down depending on the day. The material and the fit make this skirt so comfortable to wear.
This skirt has become a staple and I wear it at least twice a week so far this summer. I’m so glad I bought two of them!
I am in love with this skirt. It has great weight and fullness and drapes so nicely - all I want to do is twirl! The fold-over waist is a great feature because I have a long torso and often have trouble getting bottoms to hit me in the right spot at my waist. I’m in an XL and have a 39” waist and 47” hips.
I love this skirt! So comfy and so pretty. It's very easy to dress this skirt up and still be comfortable. The pockets are perfect and the thick waistband is both stretchy and supportive. It also makes a cute strapless dress! I often wear a size 14 in pants/jeans, I wear an XL in the Buttercream slim pants and the L in the circle skirt fit perfectly. I am 5'0" so the circle skirt hits about mid-calf on me.

I tend to be between the L and XL sizing (101 cm bust, 97 cm waist, 109 cm hips). I'm so glad I went with the large! It wears great as a skirt and the higher top makes it easy to wear crop tops (looks like it is over a dress without the additional layers of an actual dress). I just got it a week ago and I've already worn it three times.
I am so happy with this purchase and skirt. I inquired about sizing and she helped me choose the perfect size. I love that it has pockets and is so soft and flows. Having the option to wear it as a strapless dress will make it a beach staple. I love how the waistband lays. I wore this skirt all day and it did not stretch out, or roll/fall down at all. I LOVE my circle skirt! Wonderfully soft and a light fluttery weight which will be so perfect for summer! The way the waistband is you can really adjust how long it is depending on how you fold it (it's folded in half in this pic) and it works really well to pull it all the way up and wear it as a strapless dress. Would love more colours if more are made available sometime ♡ This is size medium.

I had emailed Buttercream to see if I could get a Circle Skirt in a different size. I LOVED the skirt I’ve had for a few years. I now love my new skirt and this one has pockets! Buttercream even made and shipped it in time for Mother’s Day. ❤️ I appreciate ethically, locally made as well.
I was unsure of ordering initially as the measurements were saying I needed several sizes larger than I wear in many brands. But after checking in with customer service and getting advice on what to order, I decided to take a chance and am so glad I did! The colour is amazing and the fabric is incredibly soft and light yet still doesn't seem flimsy/thin. I was planning on wearing it more as a dress as I have not felt skirts suited me in quite some time, however I was pleasantly surprised that it looked beautiful both ways. I recommend trusting the measurements given are accurate, but reaching out to customer service for help with this part if you need to, to ensure it goes well.
