The Ev Scarf is back and it is bringing joy with an incredibly personal touch!
This year's Ev Scarf is inspired by artwork done by Evelyn herself. Heather shared a drawing of Evelyn's with us that we were able to recreate into the whimsical, uplifting fabric that you see. Soft flowers and hearts of yellows and blues adorn the bamboo jersey of the Ev Scarf. Evelyn's light shines through her artwork, her legacy, and through each of you that wear her scarf and carry her memory.
All net proceeds from the Ev Scarf will go directly to RadFlix - an organization of radical thinkers transforming the experience for children with cancer. The team is working hard to make RadFlix more available to children and families across North America. RadFlix exists to make routine radiation cancer treatments more comfortable - children undergo hours of this treatment and are often left with trauma from these experiences. RadFlix offers children the ability to distract their attention with a favourite movie or show while undergoing radiation treatment. This special technology matters in a space where traditional electronics are not allowed - giving children the gift of laughter, joy, and focusing their attention on something other than their treatment.
